How does shopping help pets?
BRING PETS HOME has agreements with the independent online retailers listed on our site that enable our visitors to purchase goods through third party sites. A portion of those purchases are designated to BRING PETS HOME. All operating costs of BRING PETS HOME are covered by corporate donations. Any money designated for BRING PETS HOME through sales goes to provide food, shelter and medical treatment for pets in need.
How do these relationships work?
BRING PETS HOME has agreements with multiple online retailers to offer a wide variety of merchandise through links on our site. Purchases made through these links result in a portion of your total purchase, called a revenue share, being given to BRING PETS HOME. These funds are used to support our mission. We receive this money only if you shop at one of the third party retailers via a link on BRINGPETSHOME.com, BRINGPETSHOME.org or BRINGPETSHOME.net. Once you've entered the third party site, BRING PETS HOME receives a revenue share from all products you purchase during that visit.
Why shop through BRING PETS HOME.org?
The links provided on BRING PETS HOME.org are specifically coded to designate you as a BRING PETS HOME supporter. This is the only way to ensure that your purchase goes to help pets in need.
How do I pick a specific shelter to receive a donation?
By registering with BRING PETS HOME, you can select a participating animal shelter to benefit from your purchases. During this registration process, you will be given the option to search for a specific shelter by state or zip code. Registration is not necessary for BRING PETS HOME to receive the revenue share from your purchases as long as you shop through links on the site. But the only way to aid a specific shelter is to register and choose a specific shelter to support.
How do I change my preferences and update my information?

We receive and store any information you enter on our website. This includes information that can identify you (“personal information”), such as your name and e-mail address, which we may collect when you register on the site. You can choose not to provide us with any information, but name and e-mail address is required in order for you to register as a member, participate in a contest or survey that we may offer, ask a question, or initiate other transactions on the site.
We DO NOT SHARE OR SELL any personal information we collect WITH ANYONE, except in very limited circumstances, including:
- With our authorized service providers that perform certain functions or services on our behalf (including website maintenance and business analytics);

What do I do if I have questions about purchases?
Please direct all purchase questions to the retailer who completed your transaction. Purchases made through our third party partner sites are subject to the policies and procedures of those sites. Order fulfillment and customer service relating to orders placed at any of those third party sites, including the collection of applicable sales taxes, are the sole responsibility of such sites. Any concerns regarding order fulfillment, customer service, privacy policies or other issues relating to these third party online retail sites should be directed to the Webmaster or site administrator of the site.
What do I do if I forget my username or password?
Your user name is the e-mail address you have saved with your account information.
To retrieve your password, please go to the Forgot Password page and enter the e-mail address you have saved with your account information. Then click on the submit button. You will receive an email reminding you of your password.
How do I unsubscribe from BRING PETS HOME email newsletters and alerts?
If you would like to change the email communications you now receive from us, please go to the My Account page. In the My Offers and Updates column, click on the link to "Change my offers and updates." You will be given the option to select (by clicking on a checkbox without an "x") or deselect (by clicking on a checkbox with an "x") the email communications we offer. Once making your choices, click on the Submit button to update your preferences.
How do I register on the BRING PETS HOME site?
Registering on the site is easy. Just click on the Login/Register button in the top right corner of any page. Click on the Register Now button on the Login/Register page. Then provide the required information requested during the three step process--profile information, the shelter you wish to support, and the offers and updates to which you would like to be subscribed.
What if I can’t find the shelter I want to support when doing a shelter search by zip code or state?
First, be sure you have conducted your search in the correct zip code or state where the shelter you wish to support is located. If the name of the shelter still does not appear, it may not be one of our participating shelters.
We are adding new shelters everyday, so please check back soon to see if the shelter that you are interested is on the list. In the meantime, please consider choosing the BRING PETS HOME foundation as the designee for your donations, and we will ensure that 100% of the commissions generated by your purchases will go to help shelter pets in need.
How do I access my HomeAgain account from the bringpetshome.com site?
Although the BRING PETS HOME Foundation is associated with HomeAgain, you cannot access your HomeAgain account through the bringpetshome.com site. In order to access your HomeAgain account, please go to homeagain.com and log in.
If I’ve signed up for Netflix or another affiliate before shopping through BRING PETS HOME, how can I have a percentage of my purchases benefit BRING PETS HOME?
Your previous purchases from a merchant cannot retroactively qualify. However, all of your future purchases from a merchant will qualify if you shop through the BRING PETS HOME site.
At this time, merchants such as Netflix pay a commission for new memberships only. Ongoing monthly memberships do not qualify.
How can I have my favorite stores listed as merchants with BRING PETS HOME?
In order to be listed as a merchant on the BRING PETS HOME site, a merchant must join LinkShare (linkshare.com) as a participating merchant. Once the merchant has joined LinkShare, please contact us and make another request.
How can I have my favorite shelters become participating shelters on the site?
We are piloting BRING PETS HOME with shelters presently in the program. In the future, we may consider expanding the program.
How do I know the money I am raising is going to the shelter I have designated?
Please be sure to log in each time you visit and shop at bringpetshome.com. Being logged in allows us to track how much money you raise and then send it to the shelter you have designated. If you shop through bringpetshome.com without logging in, the money you raise is shared among participating shelters.
